OpenCallbook collects only what's needed to serve the site and detect abuse.

What we log

• Request IP, path, status, and timing — kept for 30 days for ops and abuse mitigation.
• Successful and failed API key uses (hashed key, timestamp).

What we don't do

• No cookies set by us.
• No third-party analytics, ad, or tracking pixels.
• No selling, sharing, or transferring user data to third parties.

FCC data

License data is sourced from the FCC's public ULS releases, which are in the public domain. We follow the FCC's existing convention of suppressing individual licensees' street addresses in our API responses. Aggregate location data (city, state, ZIP) remains visible because that is how amateur and GMRS license records are searchable in the FCC's own public file.
